I’m an Indigenous Bolivian adoptee raised in Texas, who now calls NYC home. As a quiet kid with an active imagination, I loved playing outside and making up fantastical stories. Young me wondered why I didn’t see people who looked like me in movies and shows on TV. Cue a free Shakespeare class, an interest in stage combat, and the Dallas Arts Magnet high school. I was part of my school’s Mime Troupe and the inaugural Skokos Learning Lab in collaboration with Dallas Theater Center, and later got my BFA at SMU. I have continued telling stories in NYC on stage and screen. As a reconnecting Aymara woman, I’ve also started writing my own short films that investigate identity through an adoptee lens. When I’m not acting, I can be found falling in love with a dog on first sight, hunting for hole-in-the-wall restaurants with friends, or out on a tennis court!
